Cileungsi, Bogor (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo believes exports will increase after customs and licensing facilities have undergone digitalization or can be accessed online.

"It will definitely increase because the processes have been accelerated and streamlined," said President Joko Widodo after the Presidential Gathering with customs facility users and the online licensing launch at PT Samick Indonesia in Cileungsi Kidul Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency, on Tuesday.

The President took the time to briefly visit PT Samick Indonesia, which produces musical instruments, particularly pianos and guitars.

The former Governor of Jakarta indeed wants licensing processes to be conducted online and made as efficient and easy as possible.

"I believe it will provide good motivation for investors, especially export-oriented ones, export-oriented industries, and export-oriented factories," said the President, who wore a blue Customs uniform vest during the factory visit.

The President emphasized that Indonesia requires two important things that can affect economic growth: investment and exports.

"If there is convenience, it will increase; the key to our economic growth lies here," he said.
