PT CWT Commodity Logistics (CWT) in Indonesia was established in 2010 as part of the CWT Commodity Logistics group specializing in storage and management of metal products, minerals, and soft commodities or agricultural products.

With the global presence of CWT Commodity Logistics across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, CWT Commodity Logistics is able to offer comprehensive logistics solutions.

CWT Commodity Logistics is fully owned by CWT Pte. Limited, a world-leading integrated supply chain solutions provider established since 1970. CWT Pte. Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CWT International Limited (HKEX: 521). Together with subsidiaries of CWT Pte. Limited ("CWT Group"), CWT Group supports diverse customer bases worldwide through regional offices and our service partner network to provide and operate businesses, commodity marketing, financial services, and a complete range of logistics solutions.

In Indonesia, PT CWT operates a Bonded Logistics Center (BLC). The first BLC PT CWT was established in Bandar Lampung in 2018. This BLC focuses on premium commodities, especially soft commodities such as coffee beans from Lampung and surrounding areas for export purposes.

In late 2023, the second BLC was established in Cikande, Serang – Banten. The commodities stored here are cocoa beans and processed cocoa products for export.

BENEFITS & ADVANTAGES OF BLC:

The utilization of this BLC is particularly beneficial for CWT's clients - especially international buyers of Indonesian products who don't have branch offices or representative offices in Indonesia.

Indonesian exporters who regularly ship products overseas also benefit from the BLC's presence.

These benefits include:

  1. Fiscal facilities
  2. Storage period up to 3 years
  3. Import flexibility: available for imports, exports, transshipment
  4. Flexibility in goods ownership
  5. Export flexibility: partial withdrawals according to needs and maintaining controlled cash flow for customs duty payments
  6. Simple activities such as packaging replacement or label application

These facilities will ultimately add value to Indonesian products, especially for foreign buyers who can utilize the BLC warehouse as a buying centre for Indonesia's premium commodities.

PT. CWT Commodity Logistics reaffirms its support for the BLC to become a main hub in Asia's commodity supply chain while helping Indonesia's logistics industry become increasingly effective and efficient.
